I havent got mine back yet but have today seen the answer sheet when picking up the new quiz. I know I got 6 wrong. There was part of the clue missing about the net curtain and there are one or two very obscure names on the list. The winner is a customer of my hairdresser, who is a bit peeved about the marking again. Good Luck if you are doing the next one.

I wont do the next one. i didnt like the one before the lincolnshire born one but once I had my hands on it I couidnt resist it. I dont understand a couple of the answers and yes mine too had part of the clue missing

I got 103 so you did better than me
Only just - answer sheet come today, and I have 104. If I hadnt changed four of my answers I would have been in the money, ah well, maybe next time NOT. lol The new quiz is pub names so I have been poring through the yellow pages and have done more than half of them already.

I thought it said proverbs - are the clues of a similar standard though
hi got mine back this morning, you are all more clever than me i only got 100 but aging if i had kept to some of my answers i would have got more,the next one about pub names looks a bit easier but once you pick them up they become addictive, so good luck i expect we will all be asking for some clues before we send it in.
Up to now it is much easier. It does not say if the pubs are names in general or particular to Lincolnshire. One that is of course is - yellowbelly catching game at night; others are: road runs past Cadwell Park;
Leaning slightly for this coopers work;
Kings eldest son;
water runs or light smack & heavy timber stake;
bottom of fireplace not closed;
cereal grown on farms & cut the crop;
Ive done 73 out of the 119 without really looking too hard, and did them in about half an hour. The real work starts now I have to start deciphering the remaining clues.
