How do i cauculate the speed?
a 70kg mass is travelling a distance of 840m and up a hill of 240m. It takes 2mins to complete journey. How do i calculate the average speed (taking the value of the acceleration due to gravity as 9.8ms^2)

Average speed = total distace divided by total time.
You know the total time is 2 minutes.
Total distance depends on what the distances stated represent. You don't make it clear if the distances stated are the horizontal and vertical distances or the hypotenuse. You will have to calculate (using pythagoras if necessary) the total distance travelled for whatever geometrical route had been described.
