Wheel Mouse

My wheel mouse scroll function works fine everywhere EXCEPT on the internet. Can someone explain in SIMPLE TERMS what I should do to correct the settings ? Many thanks.

when you install a scroll mouse, it is usual that applications like Microsfot Office, (Word etc) automatically accept the driver software or just upgrades its own. This does not work for the web - so you have to ensure you have the latest software driver installed and activated. When properly installed, sometimes mine doesn't work unless I actually click on the actual internet page (as opposed to the browser window)
