Anyone got a tried and tested Hummus recipe!

Just made a fabulous mixed bean salad,so think will have a bash at making hummus any aber got a recipe that tastes good thanks!!!!

Hey,,, what was in the mixed bean salad ?

Here goes red chilli,celery,spring onions,tomatoes,borlotti beans,kidney beans,salt and pepper,garlic,olive oil, should have been red wine vinegar didnt have so put in cider vinegar,dried oregano,emmmmmmmm,small green pepper, thats it, with hindsight maybe not cook the vegetables as long as they said but blinkin lovely!!!

Sounds absolutely fabby puddicat... I wish I had seen that recipe BEFORE I cooked my dinner (a slightly boring mushroom & chilli omelette with mash... ) doh ! I've got all of those ingredients too ... shame I am not hungry now lol..

Nothing secret about hummous.
A 400g tin of chick peas (drained)
2 Tablespoons tahini
A couple of cloves of garlic
Blitz that lot in a food processor
Add equal amounts (about 100ml each) of olive oil and vinegar still using the processor
That's it!
If it's too stiff add a drop more liquid
If you want salt, pepper herbs, just throw some in
