Water Squirters Dont Squirt

My squirters will not squirt.I can hear the pump working and I can disconnect the hoses blow down them and it bubbles in the bottle where I fill it.

It is just not going through the pipes.

Any ideas anyone please its driving me nuts!!!!!!!!

It may be that you have a blockage that while allowing air to go through the pipe is not allowing the water to go through. If the hole in the blockage is small enough, water will go through but it won't have enough pressure to make it to the nozzles/windscreen.
Or it may be that while the pump is working it isn't producing enough pressure to deliver water to the nozzles. A worn out pump will do this as it allows water to leak back out into the bottle. New ones don't cost that much and you don't even need to go to the dealer to get one.

There needs to be a vent hole somewhere in the filler cap of your fluid bottle. Is yours blocked? You could also try inserting a pin into the tiny outlet jets on your washer system, they may be blocked or clogged up.

The pump may be on it's way out and even although you can hear it working it may not be producing enough pressure, does the water pump out of the pipe when it is removed from the nozzle?, if not the pump is knackered, if it does, there may be a blockage in the nozzles, if you have access to an airline, blow through the nozzles with that form both ends, that should clear it

Oh I forgot, It could even be some debris inside the water bottle that is blocking the inlet pipe to the pump, remove the pump and do the same with the airline and try that.

Thanks for all the advice no water comes out anywhere and I cannot locate the pump its a mondeo L reg do I need to take the wheel off all I can see is about 6 inch of the filler neck on the front left of the bonnet.

it would make access to it much easier, there is a plastic splash shield there too, you should be able to relaeas the front portion to gain access to the bottle and pump
