what is different about the 1/2 inch bsp to 15mm connector necessary for the inlet pipework on a mira shower?
why is so different to say, troton?
any advice, ta in advance
.............sounds like an ordinary tap connector Terence. The 15mm end connects directly to standard copper/plastic tube. The half inch BSP is the imperial (but still current) thread found on the spigot of a common half inch tap - or in this case, shower unit.
Some units simply have a 15mm spigot instead - that just means the connector will have 15mm at both ends.....................make any sense?
yes it does, now.
before i could,nt get the 15mm elbow to stop leaking at the spigot end but i solved it with a pushfit 15mm elbow and it sealed it a treat, first time i,ve used one
