lupus??

I have Hypothyroidism(125mcg daily,at the moment-the level required keeps changing),just been diagnosed with Lupus Anticoagulant(hughes syndrome?) and constant stomach problems(I.B.S). I suffer with numbness and whiteness to my fingers and toes,especially when cold, but at times just for no reason. I have tested negative for Raynauds twice. I suffer migraine attacks occasionally and have neck,shoulder and finger stiffness.
I am interested to know if there is a test for Lupus and if it is a one off test that shows it up immediately, or if you have to have the test repeated as Lupus doesn't present itself in you blood if in 'remission'?
I am so frustated with going to and fro to the G.P and have been diagnosed with Lupus Anticoagulant from a top London hospital with no follow up or advice.( I was referred to the allergy clinic in London due to unexplained analphalatic shock episodes(two of which whilst abroad) and they recently diagnosed my Lupus Anticoagulant as the cause-i had no chemical or food allergies!)
I'm am,this week, in daily pain, constantly tired and suffering again with stomach problems. I'm normally very active, i run,swim(a mile a session) and eat healthily but am debilitated at the moment and can do next to nothing.
Has anyone experienced this and know of any test i can request from my G.P, or know if this is just what Lupus anti coagulant does to you?

Yes....antiphospholipid antibodies....a blood test.

Yes there are, the lupus anticoagulant test and testing for
an elevated PTT (partial thromboplastin time ie blood clotting ability).

Thanks to all who answered my question and tried to help.
I HAVE tested positive for lupus anticoagulant but with no history of any kind of thrombosis. I've been battling for years with fatigue,aching joints,unexplained swelling of the face and throat,throat and mouth ulcers(not for several years,and these kind of started all the investigations).Symptoms of raynauds but negative blood results and persistant stomach problems. :-(
I just need to know if lupus will present itself in one blood test all the time?
