Kefallonia holiday

i'm going to kefallonia end of May first week june. first time going there for me, we are stopping at the resort of Skala what interesting things are there to do in that area

Skala is a small village. At the end of the main street, you can walk down some steps through a Pine wood to the road that runs parallel to an incredibly long beach. In the last couple of years, lots of hotels and holiday appartments have sprung up along this road.

There are a number of restaurants, pool bars, and a disco.

Kefalonia is not the most exciting place on earth, but we do have some fabulous scenery. You really need to hire a car and get out and about. You can visit the underwater lake at Melisani, the caves a Drogorati, take a trip up Mt. Aenos (3rd highest in Greece). You can also rent a boat quite cheaply and take a trip along the coast. There's also a diving school quite close.

Start at San Diego, then just drive down to Sacramento, along the coast. It's awesome.
