Any advice on the best buy breadmaker ie quality & price? Don't need a huge one as it's only for two people.

I like the fact that I have the option of making a loaf of bread from the basic ingredients or just make up the dough (say for rolls or pizza), I can add other ingredients just before the end of mixing (eg dried fruit) so they don't get too mashed up, I can use it for baking cakes and it has a timer, so I can put the stuff in, set it to start working half way through the night and wake up to a freshly baked loaf of bread....
The model I have is the SD-253 and it will make loaves of 3 different sizes (the largest takes 500g flour). The newer SD-255 has been out for just over a year now but you might be able to get hold of one of the SD-253's at a knock down price. They are currently selling for about 30 less than I paid 7 years ago ! I've seen them on sale in Amazon for under 90.
