download word/publisher

i have just got a new laptop with windows vista on but none of the core programs such as word, publisher and excell are installed onto it. does anyone know were i can download these programs ? PLEASE HELP! i need them for my A level coursework :| xx

The products you want are all part of Microsoft Office.

They have never been part of Windows, either XP or Vista.

I am afraid to get them you need to BUY them (not cheap).

You can leagally download an office suite here that does almost everything that Microsoft Office does, AND IS FREE.

There is also free open source software called OpenOffice which is slightly different but should still be able to handle all your current .doc and .xls files.
