Strangely Jayne if it only pops up from time to time , the odds are that a good deal of the time its probably entirely serious and not a wind up.Exactly why i would always be positive towards the poster.Id rather look an idiot for caring than be a sorry fool afterwards.Imagine coming online after you told someone to commit suicide and they'd done it.

Your mock bravado Doc Spock impresses no one, i am sure when death comes upon you then you will feel as much fear as any of the rest of us.

Maybe Mike was not genuine but i for one would not take risks with someone who may have had genunine sucidal intentions by making childish crass remarks (ie Jayne) just to make oneself appear macho and flippant.

Depression and these type of thoughts are prevalent in society today and any one of us may be affected by them ,being "tough" has diddly squat to do with it, no one can control the chemical make up of the brain which is how depression forms.

So do not mock what you do not understand and do not play games with peoples lives, treat the man as if he were geunine and leave the giggly inane remarks to a more light hearted topic.

I didn't make crass remarks to make myself look like anything.

I made crass remarks to warn the poster that the subject he had chosed was a tragic and serious one for many people, and not suitable for hoax posts.

I wanted to make it clear that he should not espect to toy with the symathies of well-meaning people about such an awful subject.

I guess I was wrong.

Of course that's the personal opinion of an idiot.
But an idiot with a clear conscience and the common sense not to tempt fate.
