I can't recall seeing anything unusual today (except a tidy desk in front of me as I type - now that is unusual!). However, late last night I was at Stansted Airport and I saw not one, but two, passport inspection staff actually smile. (They'll probably have been suspended, for a breach of the rules, by now).

The oddest thing I saw today was a bunch of students bringing a baby frog into my prep room that they'd found in the school playing field. We named him Ferdinand and I brought the little fella home and put him beside my pond.
