Dentures - dropped and broken in half

Hello, Mother-n-Law dropped lower set and they broke in half. I took them to a repairer out of Yellow Pages. Though he couldn't mend them while I waited, he said he could have them ready within the hour.True to his word, they were ready in next to no time and I coughed up �50. I was a bit taken aback as I had only expected it to be �20/�25. Still, I'm probably out of touch with what things cost so its not a moan. I would just like to know if any ABers have had a similar experience lately and does the cost sound right.

When an old neighbour broke her bottom denture in half, my husband asked her to wash them thoroughly first (yuk), he then superglued them together for her.

They set very quickly & she's still wearing them! ;o}

Hi janoel - thank you for asking about my 'filmy' eye. It turned out to be a small cateract, which I may need an op for in the near future. Hope you're well. -x-
