Is there a webb site (similar to answerbank) that one can post a photo of an object and ask if anyone can identify it and possably its use.etc.

You can post a link to your photo here - we all enjoy this sort of conumdrum.

You can use tinypic to provide the link to the photo

I have never seen pictures on Answerbank.
How do I go about putting a picture or link on here?
I am not very good at these things. I do agree it would be interesting, there are lots of mystery items about that people don't know what they are.

goto http://www.tinypic.com and upload your picture there, that site will then give you a URL (an address) which you can copy and paste into a question or answer on this site so people can click on the address link and it will take them to your picture.
