The Sixth Sense

I'm not thick, but I was watching the Sixth Sense last night on DVD, first time I've seen it, and I can't for the life of me understand the twist at the end. Can someone explain it for me please?

Wastch the extras on the DVD. There are some intertesting themes to look out for. My favourite is the way the Director used the colour red in scenes evertine something supernatural happened. like the red balloon floating up the spiral stairs , and the door knob that led to Bruce Willis's basement office. Great film that is almost more enjoyable the second time around.
