is burgerking closing down

i have been to several francises of burgerking lately and all of them have closed down, i live in lincolnshire, does anyone else have this problem.....whats going on..i could murder a woppa right now!

I live in Essex and they seem a bit sparse here too :-( In fact a friend and I started our own group on facebook trying to petition the re-opening of the one that used to be in Brentwood High St. Unfortunately no one seemed that bothered, we only got 4 members! lol

We used to have 2 near me, both now closed! The closest ones now are inside Alton Towers where they seem to have taken over from McDonalds who used to be in there.

Such a shame, BK are far nicer than McDonalds and I don't fancy paying the �30 odd quid entrance fee to Alton Towers just so I can get a burger!!

3 open, in fact one of them has only just opened about a month ago (I live in birmingham)

i live in Leeds city centre,there used to be two BK's but one got shut down... the only one left is in the train station!! lol the rest of BK are outside of Leeds citycentre.

we dont even have a KFC or Pizza hut inthe city centre either! i dunno whats happening to them all x

There are loads of takeaways where i live...

blimey I cant move for takeaway places, I live less than a mile from pizza hut, 3 kfcs, 3 mcdonalds, 3 burger kings, dozens of chippys, chineses and indians, topping that a tesco extra 2 asda's (one being the second largest in the country)

you would not want to get the volume of menus I get shoved through my door every day!!

Probably franchise problems.

We still have one in Manchester City Centre (verses about 3 McDonalds, couple of KFC's, 3 Pizza Huts and loads of others.

I must admit I tend to go to McDonalds as used to work in Burger King and don't like the fries as much.

If anything we're deluged by Starbucks, Cafe Nero and more recently Subway :)
