Can some help me please my step son who is 15 years old came home with a tattoo. they didnt question his age but he did say he was 18 but didn't show any ID.
What shall i do should i call the police? should I go and see the tattoist HELP!!

I think it's probably best to contact the police to try and lessen the posibilty of a repeat offence (if this is happening often in that shop).

There IS a defence in Law though - it's one of a genuine belief that the minor was in fact over 18. But the burden is on the defence to prove that.

Although your complain relates to a criminal offence, it's quite likely that the police won't be interested. Such matters are normally dealt with by Trading Standards (who have the power to bring a prosecution if deemed necessary).
