Watch Virgin Media cable TV on PC
I'm getting a new desktop PC which I'm going to put in the living room, where I currently have a TV on Virgin Media cable.
My question is, could I connect the Virgin Media set-top box to the PC (or to the monitor), in order to watch TV on the computer screen?
I could then dispense with the TV altogether, which would be perfect as the new PC has a 22" monitor and the TV is 20".

You wouldn't be able to watch TV without having your PC switched on and you wouldn't be able to use your PC for anything else while your watching TV

Actually thinking about it.... With a 22inch flat screen monitor there is a pretty good chance that it will have extra inputs so if your lulcky you may be able to connect the V box direct to the monitor.
But it still wouldn't be very convenient in my opinion to use your computer monitor as your main TV screen.
