can anyone recommend a good iron im sick of buying cheap ones that dont last very long

Hi verity, I have a Tefal superglide 80. Bought it a while back! It has a different kind of base to it, can't explain it really. Good iron! It's lasted very well xxx

verity you have to buy a steam generator iron,at work we had a tefal one, fantastic but you have to flush the system at least once a week more if you live in a hard water area, i am now using a morphy richards steam generator iron at home,maybe not quite the steam output as the tefal, but adequate for my use and a 2 year guarantee, i love morphy richards have a food processor and a hoover from them really good products!!!

I was recommended a Phillips one by the staff at John Lewis and I must say I have been very pleased with it.

l have a Morphy Richards which are quite cheap and the steam power is excellent
