Not a question - more of an observation and apologies if it's not so good where you are. It's a beautiful autumn day down here in Hampshire. The sun is shining, it's warm and the trees are beginning to turn -this has to be the best time of the year. On top of that I have just counted 11 buzzards wheeling about overhead - perfect conditions for them. Hope you are having a lovely day where you are

lovely day indeed-dogs having a snoring competition-house filled with the aromas of perfumery-not an answer more an observation-----:<)
It is indeed a gorgeous day. I will be out on Mitcham Common after the grand prix, I have discovered a tree to laze back against and let the world go by around me.

I reckon Massa has it in the bag.
Massa - whoops!!!!

Glorious day here too in the scottish borders, the cats are loving the sun, doing some last minute sun bathing before winter sets in. I dont mind the autumn when we get days like today, it makes every where look golden not just the leaves. Have a good sunday everyone.
Lovely day here in South Yorkshire, just been clearing some fallen apples up, the black birds have had their fill, one or two left for the bird table.I chop them up and the wood pigeons love them, peanuts and bird seed ready for my other feathered pals when they visit.Don't know what has happened to the sparrows I have not had many this past week which is unusual.
Oh garner i was getting some very black looks from my resident woodys as id run out of bird seed and their favourite feeder was empty, they had plenty of wind falls to placate them but they wouldnt entertain the idea of eating apples...!!!
Hi there, have you tried chopping them up [ fine ] mine love to have a go at them.

lol beejay!
Good to see everyone enjoying the weather - need to make the most of it.
I have had lots of birds in the garden including sparrows. I have lots of wild blackberries and the birds love them. The rabbits love the apples - I have a low tree and they pick them off which is very comical to watch.
We are on our 3rd day of heavy rain, benn 24/7 since Friday and the same forcast for tomorrow........and I live in Spain....you have our weather....give it back..!!!!!!
Thanks garner, will try chopping them finer as they were chopped into quite chunky pieces,...stll think id get the black looks though as my two are a very greedy twosome when it comes to the birdseed...lol
been a nice day here as well ,have not felt much like doing anything today as 1 of my cats was hurt yesterday and is at the vets with a smashed face and broken leg she has been on a drip all weekend with pain relief and antibiotics to get her stable then hopefully they will be able to xray tomorrow so i have been in a panic and upset all weekend

So sorry to hear about your cat ruthann - hope she is soon on the mend. Keep us posted won't you?
Hi, all
Lovely day here too - walked for miles on the beach (yes, the beaches here are miles long) with the dogs (mine and a friend's) past the lobster nets, saw a porpoise, had an ice-cream, glorious memory before the long nights come. Dogs in and out of the water, up and down the dunes, collapsed on sofa when they got home.
thanks bensmum hopefully when they xray tomorrow they will know if they can do any thing about her face or not .her leg is not a problem the vet said its her face that is the cause for concern he does not think her bottom jaw is broken its the top half of her face that is the problem
