Afternoon,

Do you think 700 per month all inclusive in a flat share with one other person in South East London is a standard/good price or a bit pricey? I've been half offered a place and I'm umming and erring over the financial aspects of it. But wherever I look it seems much of muchness so not sure if I'm lookiing in the wrong places or being stingey!

Cheers
China

Provided you know exactly what is covered and there won't be any disagreements then it may be a good deal.

I'm about to move out of a bed bed, two bath city centre flat in Manchester with balcony and parking which we pay 700.00 per month for though I remember from looking when I was on London and for a decent place of my own down there and was looking at 350.00 a week plus for a decent place then.

I think it depends on the reason for renting too. Is it her place for which she needs extra income by getting a lodger rather than two of you renting to a private landlord?
CD, with all the inclusives you mention, it sounds like quite a good deal. If you like the place, you should go for it.
700 is a lot from your income, but that's London I suppose. Hope it works it out.
He has a brand new flat -all inclusive -its beautiful but yes Edinburgh is very expensive.I would even go as far to say that Edinburgh is more expensive than London -its very exclusive and with it being one of the main financial centres of the world along with being a 'small' city -makes the charges higher.

BTW wheres my stars lol
oops just noticed lol xxxxxx
not sure china, but I think 700 all inclusive is good, she used to live in Croydon but the travel into London for work was too expensive

ronni -u jest lol

I stay in what was a beautiful town but its a manky hole because migrants (sorry but true) have taken over our town -they rent-could be as many as 10 in a flat but cos of shifts they are as fly that they manage it.

They go into Tescos -batter their way round literally -to the point I have kicked a trolley back at one with a bit of verbal.

Sory CD nowt toi with your thread but its just hnot posible to get decent rented acomodation nowadays -thas why I said bite their hand of -cos sure as Monday is tomorrow them migrants will take it.

All good for me when I eff off to Spain to live cos they can do what they like as long as the mortgage is paid but for us lot here -take it when you can -you have to be one step ahead.

BTW -wee personal note to CD -she knows -re yer mum etc -I have been accepted as someone who can be helped -I am now going to get 1-2-1 with someone -they reckon 3 months minimum but I felt better even after that and who knows I may be able to be like your mum in the future xxxxxx

Thank you for all your answers, sorry I had to dash off last night so the stars stopped coming and I'm a little too busy to dish them out right now.

I did try to call her but no answer. I'll try again later.

Dris - They're a very good organisation and good luck to you, I think you'll do well out of it.

GS - Don't tempt me!
