Just before I post - last ditch effort to answer final question: Lack of quiet around here (6). All answers are islands near or far.

That's only 4 letters though. There is an island called RACKET in New York State.

Hi Squarebear...I'm sorry about YELL, never looked at number of letters required...I can't see any reference to Racket Island!
What about GOSSIP ISLAND in the Georgia Straits, Canada?
