The word 'shared' is interesting in this case...

The US has demanded information on all travellers to the us for a long time, even bank account details. However they have in the past refused to recipricate by not divulging the details of it's citizens.

Does this now mean that they will give the same information to the uk as we have been forced to give them in the past?
