Not sure if this is the best place to write this but I've always wondered what the little white stick is for that you always get in packs of dates. I assumed it was something to do with de-stoning them but i wasnt sure how you would go about it even if it was!
Anyone care to enlighten me??

I use the white stick instead of a fork.

thanks both of you, I must just be dirty i enjoy eating them with my fingers ha ha :S

That makes me feel better then :) just tried using the stick now and I definitely prefer using my fingers!
