Do you rely on overtime to get through???

I am really struggling to get through every month, and have to take on overtime but its never enough,everything has risen apart from my wages, and the overtime is depleting, i can understand how people feel sucidal because they cant pay there way, i think about money all the time, and go to bed constanly worrying , this isnt a life!!!

In January I was paying �40 gas direct debit per month, about June they increased it to �66 and they've just tried to increase it to �104 per month. I told them no chance and that I shall just put on a jumper and only turn the heating on when necessary - they insisted on �84 as a minimum but I shall be laughing in March when I get the rebate - mind you they've still had all that interest free credit off me.

I'm sitting here with a jumper on and the heating off - because I'm not giving them the money!!! Until they tried to increase the payment I would have had the heating on full, a t-shirt on and the back-door open for the cat to go in and out! So they have done theirselves no favours with me. Bring back jumpers!

Well-at least the companies that manufacture jumpers and fleeces will be doing ok.....but sometimes you get tired of being cold all winter. When my daughter was home over the summer,several times I came home from work to find the heating on...either she was 'cold'(in July???), or she wanted her clothes to dry...!! I went a bit balistic.

pasta the young uns have no concept about money, my son when he visits puts alll the heating on and lights, doesnt switch off a thing lol!!!
