Quality of high street fashions??
I have recently bought some (6 pairs!) trousers for work from Dorothy Perkins, and a big wooly type coat from New Look, and within the first month of buying them all I have had to sew every button back on... very annoying!! Has anyone else noticed this problem with high street fashion stores? I know a couple of years ago I never had this problem with them but now it seems to be constant!!

I would guess that its because they are rushed in production and the workers make them to high targets, so poorer standards. I bought a shirt from DP the other day to go out in and whilst out and having a good time dancing I lost the most vital button the one where its cleavage or flashing - very annoying. It does seem that standards have fallen, I have also begun to find that the clothes from certain high street shps are beginning to look badly made too.
Didn't treat them roughly at all, it was the first and second times that I wore them! And I didn't buy the wrong size either, they're still a little big around the waist so there's no pressure there at all! They buttons were very loose when i checked a pair i hadn't worn, like they had been sewed on and not tied or done properly. I bought a lovely wooly jumper last week, which is coming apart at the seams too... Just not great quality anymore!
