how do you use a web site link

i answered a few questions on here but i have no idea how to put a hyperlink to a site on this forum.if i right click a site i can click on create shortcut but when i right click again on this forum nothing.is it because i am using works pc at present ( security settings and all that) or am i barking up the wrong tree.

� Copy the web address to your clipboard by selecting the whole address, then holding down <Ctrl> and pressing C;
� In your message in this forum, hold down <Ctrl> and press V to paste your web address; and
� As soon as you hit <Space> or <Return>, the hyperlink should activate (go blue (by default)).

The rest is all optional, but if you want to, you can also:
� Select the address again that you've just pasted (in your message);
� Type a word over the address; and
� This word will become the link to your web address.

For instance, if I paste (or type) in Google's address, you get this: http://www.google.com. If I paste it again, but type the word "Google" over it, you get this: Google.

You may also want to underline them, like I've done, so that people know they are links.
