Portsmouth Gig Venues

I know of Wedgewood Rooms, Guildhall and the Pyramids obviously, anyone know of another major venue in Pompey? Also, does anyone know of any really good alternative nights down there?

I was at Uni for three years in Portsmouth and they are the only decent venues I can think of - the student union has bands very rarely, and some of the pubs have decent open mic and local band nights, but they are the three major venues.

For a really good alternative night, you want Route 66 on a Monday night
