Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Is there a spelling mistake on 13 A clue. Answer to that clue is NIECE, but it looks like that Express want to spell it NEICE. The 3 down clues are correct I am sure that provide the letters N, I and E of the answer.

You're right doog - I emailed the Express yesterday and the response I got was if you complete the 13a and 7d as you would and indicate that you know there's a spelling mistake they will accept your entry into the draw.

I agree with you - I didn't bother completing any more of the crossword as I presume it will be made void

See my reply above jmr27 - the editor Andy Melvin said in his email to me that the crossword is going ahead as long as you highlight the error.

Thanks to you both for your replies. My spelling is normally pretty good. Nearly entered wrong spelling before I double checked the i before e rule which I learnt a long time ago!!!
