I have just made the phall to end all phalls. 3 medium onions, finely chopped and burned in butter ghee, a few spoons of ginger/garlic/chilli puree, a few spoons of mashed hot green chillies, two chopped Dorset Naga chillies, a jar of Pataks Vindaloo sauce, a tin of chopped tomatoes, a tablespoon of black pepper, 1500g of King Prawns. Freezes to 4 reasonable portions.
Sounds very nice although I think I'd like rather a lot of the mint yougart stuff to accompany it. Not srue abut the prawns though, with all those flavours wouldn't a meat like beef or lamb be better? Just a thought.
Either way, it's just cold enough tonight that provided I had the yougurty balming goodness, I might just be able to swallow more than one spoonful of that without getting the curry sweats.
