Is anyone as fed up as I am about the cuts at the Maidstone studios. On Friday instead of the usual presenters we had two "woodentops" from the Southampton area, the programme was so boring and there was none of the usual inter-action between them like there is with Ian, Sangeeta and co. I think we should start a petition! This lot were so po-faced and in the end I turned it off. Apparently they have made loads of staff cuts at Maidstone.

Thanks for that. I really do like Sangeeta and Ian and the rest of them, they seem to really enjoy what they are doing, which makes it so much more enjoyable for the viewers. I live in Etchingham and try never to miss the 6 pm local news! Let's hope it is back to normal soon. Apparently in the Kent Messenger it says they have cut about 100 jobs at Maidstone studios!
All the best

That's quite a hike from Rye to Robertsbridge before you even get to the train! Do you do it every day? Just been watching all the programmes about Beeching this weekend when all the old lines were closed, very nostalgic for me - I am retired now so remember them well!
