Does anyone know why MOTD isn't available on BBCi Player? I thought all the programmes were repeated for a week? Is it because they might have to pay repeat fees to Setanta or Sky?

I wondered this a couple of weeks ago too, as there was something particular on the programme I wanted to try and see. I found the following on the FAQ section of the BBC website...

"WHY ISN'T MATCH OF THE DAY OFFERED ON iPLAYER/ON DEMAND ON THE WEBSITE/AS A VIDEO PODCAST?

Both Match of the Day and Football Focus are simulcast on the website every weekend - but we can't offer the programme on demand throughout the week or on iPlayer because the BBC don't have the rights to show Premiership action on the web outside of live broadcasts."

Thanks. I thought it might be something like that. Cable and satellite get another one over on the BBC!
