Crying is good for you, and I appal the 'big boys don't cry ...' message that is still put out by some parents but ...
there is a time and a place. Being asked on national TV if you want to win a talent show is not a just cause for blubbing like a bride's mother, for either gender. The habit of mass 'emotion' seems to have started when Diana died, and now just got out of all proportion.
Maybe Kleenex could sponsor the next series, and then, instead of watching people prdding their eyes with their fingers, or wiping their noses on the host's tee-shirt, they could do the decent thing, and

Oh Andy, I have just resisted putting an answer on the OJ Simpson thread in case I am accused of always agreeing with you! Nothing wrong in with crying but come on. That Austin has cried at the audition, cried twice at boot camp, cried at Simons they really want to get a grip.
Plus the standard this year is appalling, that pool cleaner is shocking but again it's the sob story.
Don't get the spanish bird and singing in spanish at all.

I agree LoftyLottie we do agree a lot - and I see no problem with that at all.
By the same token, my views are often diametrically opposed to Ward-Minter and Anotheroldgit - but we debate quite happily and fight our corners.
Raggy and I had a spot of handbags when I wound him up out of mischief, but we have climbed over it now.
Actually, we have disagreed on the relationship question, the lady and her ex / current partner, so even we see things differently sometimes.
Well, being right all day every day is an effort isn't it?
