The X-Factor - Disgraceful?

I think this programme is dispicable and disgracefully callous. It's worse than Jerry Springer or Jeremy Kyle.
Simon Cowell and co. are just toying with young people and destroying their morale. It's definitely car-crash TV.
I think lots of people just watch it so they can cry at the end. Contestants shouldn't be allowed in unless they are 18 at least. Give it the boot I say. What do others think?

Good reality TV Simon & Co don't ask the people to come on they do so at their own free will! Everyone thinks they have some talent to offer Simon justs put them right! No point in telling someone they are great when they are rubbish!

thing is though mary the screening process is not as easy as it looks, all of the of people who have been ridiculed on there had auditioned 5 times to differents sets of production team before they get to simon and co..

I wonder why the production team would put through the really bad ones to the simon and co stage.....?

i do think allowing 14 year olds is a bit iffy i think the age limit should be higher.

I agree it is a shame to watch peoples hearts breaking, but on the other hand....

i bet leona lewis and will young and gareth gates and even girls aloud will disagree! while they sip champagne in their mansions!!!! lol

tho girls aloud was pop idol but same principal!!
