I have seen loads of couples walking down the street holding hands over the last couple of days and this is in Plymouth of all places which in my view is one of the most violent and disfuctional cities in the uk.
Whats going on this isn't normal??
I think the government are secretly putting something in the water to make us more happy and loving during the depressing and uncertain financial climate.
Shhhhhh don't tell 'them' we know or we'll be abducted and silenced. As he hotel owner in Little Britain says "You know too much!"
I work in Plymouth and escape back to normality in Cornwall every evening where there's less 'trouble' but then again some folks probably think Cornwall worse and full of backward people eating pasties, if anywhere normal????
Well yes, it is full of backward, pasty eating folks but most of them are my family so I'm allowed to say that.... Kidding, Cornwall is very pretty but Plymouth is hardly a vipers nest in all honesty.
I live in Plymouth ...and yes-the hand-holding is on the up. Makes me feel jealous as I wish I was one of them. Maybe everyone is happy the tourist season is over-lol
