isn't it embarrassing when your bf turns up unexpectedly?

Over the weekend my fella turned up unexpectedly and I was in my pyjamas with no make up on and I had not yet showered. I was very embarrassed because I normally dress up well for him, and although we have spent nights together, I've never looked that bad, LOL.

Why do we women feel so self-conscious when we've not got our make up on, best clothes on etc?

Maybe razz has yet to feel comfortable in her own skin.....that's necessary in order to take the 'mask' off in front of someone else. Course-a lot depends on just how long they've been together......obviously-he didn't care.....so it is time to relax a bit girl!!!!

I remember a bf of mine was supposed to call at the nurses home quarters to pick me up but he turned up early . I had only just come off duty and saw him stood outside .Though he had never seen me in my nurses uniform he certainly didn't seem to mind .

There is that first bout of a relationship where you always want to look nice I think. I remember a boyfriend at the time suprising me by coming back from a business trip early (we'd only been together for about a month) and there I was in all my joggined bottomed glory, unbrushed hair and frankly no real reason to shave my legs for the next two weeks as it was the middle of winter and my boyfriend was away on a business trip!

We lasted four years after that incident but I never did forgive his opening statement upon seeing me, 'I think I'm dating your stunning sister, where is she?' Cheeky git.

I shall try to chill out a bit pastafreak-you're right. I am quite insecure I think.
