Although I do have a bit of body hair on my back, which is slightly annoying.I also have quite hairy armpits. But,I do snip a bit off when it grows too much.
I must have a high level of testosterone or something to make my hairs grow so quickly.I have to have a shave every morning,as my stubble grows quick too.
I have just started having a wet shave.I used to use an electric razor, but I find a wet shave seems to give me a much more smoother skin.

It probably has something to do with the fact that one of the purposes of hair is to keep the body warm. The outer areas of the arm are more exposed to the elements, and stand up, trapping warm air, when the temperature drops. Underarm hair is probably there to prevent sweat from running down the body, just as eyebrows stop it from running from our foreheads into our eyes.
