my friends wife, went for a job at her husbands work place, they excepted the application then had her in for an interview followed by a trial day then turned around and said they dont employ husband and wife in the same work place. why didn't they say this before the application went in? they now say they have a policy saying they dont employ couples. also it does not mention this in his contract. can they turn her down on these grounds? can anyone help?
