What the hel1 are the Council up to, letting this Family have a 7 bedroom house, while we have British Family's on the waiting list?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.red tape , she has 4 sons and 3 daughters of certain ages, the law requires them to have a certain amount of personal space, they may have tried in vain to find suitable 4,5 and 6 bed properties, sadly most properties are converted for students or house share now and its very difficult to find private landlords that will accept DSS. Its a shame that so many people on the waiting list have to live in unsuitable accomodation.
if they were homeless then there would be the need to rehouse them ASAP, if they were living in unsuitable council accomodation like so many people on the list then they would have probably had to stay there for as long as it takes to find somewhere suitable
its only the fact they were homeless that got them the move, the house they got was purely down to availability

the rules need to be changed then. If i have 5 kids and cant afford to buy a 4/5 bed house then id have to make do and get the kids to share wouldnt I?
If people are desperate for housing then they will share rooms. a clean 3 or 4 bed, perhaps in a different area would have been more economical than what they have.
All children need warmth and a roof over their heads, but personal space meaning a whole bedroom to themselves?
