Unhappy with pension company
1 Answers
my personal pension is with a company which i joined last year. I transferred about 9000 into this new fund from an old, defunct pension plan with another company, and I now add to this every month. The company have handled things really badly, e.g. don't add payments I've made onto statements, don't take direct debits from my account etc. After telling them nicely, then making formal written complaints they are still useless. They just keep sending me leaflets about the ombudsman ! I am really not confident in leaving my money with them and would love to have my money back out to put somewher ehse, but I don't think I can do that can I? Am i right in thinking my only way of severing ties with this company is to open another pension elsewhere and transfer to that? Can anyone help me please, I don't know much about it. Thanks.
