Am in the process of buying a range cooker. Was opting originally for a gas hob electric oven combi but have noticed some nice looking electric oven with ceramic hob versions. Anyone have any pros and cons on these to help me choose? Thanks
Is it a proper range oven - always on, providing heat and water , or just a fancy mock up look a like that cooks in the same way as any other electric cooker?
I have a standard cooker with a ceramic hob - my last two cookers have been ceramic - I could never go back to gas with all those fiddly bits to clean.
However, my friend has an induction hob and having used hers that will definitely be my next hob type. If only my cooker would hurry up and die - it'll probably go on for years.
