L?TTIE?OGL? Searched high and low and preparing to kick myself.

Presumably this is the key to the clues in italics and the other unclued lights?

I've got Tattie Bogle a scarecrow ..but ..I'm really am at loss with this one .Fieldwork, which is the title, brings to mind things like scarecrows .But I have had to admit defeat on this particular Speccie .I can't get my head round it at all :) Filled in most of it but can't crack the clues in italics .

Thanks shaney, though not sure I'm any the wiser re the overall theme. I had 'Loonie' (a Canadian coin in Chambers) at 16 ac. so I'm stumped on that now. Have all the others bar the italics/unclued (assuming 19 dn. is Undertaker?)

I have the Loonie etc ...But I'm still none the wiser depite K's hints .

Sorry I didn't get back to you...went to watch TV ...all becomes clear now . I muddled up my Loonies and Toonies for a start :)
