I have started drinking decaffeinated tea & coffee. The only problem is that I now have a really bad headache. Does anyone know how long this will last?

Have you also cut down on your sugar by any chance? If so try having some fruits as a snack also a glass of water every now and again. See if it helps.

Hi Katie~

Happened to me when I tried Detox diet....sympathise with you as it's a real killer....lasted a couple of days, swore blind at the time NEVER AGAIN!! But I did get over it (big baby). However, that was a couple of years ago and when I came off the detox went back to fully leaded coffee!

What gets my goat is Why do they charge you extra for decaf, when its had the stuffing taken out?!! Don't bother to answer LOL :-D

Good Luck !!
Hi Katie~77 took about 3 or 4 weeks for mine to go, I stopped smoking and gave the coffee up to help me quit smoking. Stick with it, you will lose the craving for coffee. I went from drinking about 10-12 cups a day to sometimes going all week without one now and I rarely get headaches now. Well done on doing it.
hang in there katie, the headaches will decrease, drink lots of water and well done x x x x x
Took about 4 weeks for mine to go too. Totally agree with nursecarla, drink lots of water and hang in there Katie~77 it's worth it. The quality of my sleep is so much better now. Keep up the good work xx
I know someone who collapsed & was taken to hospital. All tests were negative. It turned out that his body had reacted to caffine withdrawal. He did drink a lot of coffe though, but it`s still a frightening thought.
