Weed killing,

Hi, I am about to dig up the veggie patch, Will using a very powerful gas blow torch kill the weeds properly ??

Please don't kill all the worms that have worked hard at keeping your soil in good condition,take the weeds out a little at a time each day,it won't be as tiring then.

I did't think of the little worms, Forget the blow torch, I will do it by hand each day, wont take too long.

It's getting a bit late in the season, but do yourself a favour and zap the weeds with 'Roundup' first. It will kill off weeds, roots n all and will not harm wildlife or stay in the ground to harm future planting.
