Heathcliffe is a clever kitty using his tray , do they ever have little forgetthetray moments or are cats cleaner than dogs ?
Little pup is doing well in the day for the most part but still can't manage not to do something in his cage , no matter what time of night his last out is . He's been clean overnight for 3 nights so this mornings mess was not welcome. xxxx

morning all, morning bigmamma you are getting more and more naughty the more you are on here, lastnight talking about keeping your bits clean!! Tut Tut. Got woken up at 2 this morning!! You's think people would keep their voices down when outside my flat!!!

Cats are very clean animals, a lot more so than dogs anyway (if it looks fun, they want to roll in in types haha).

He's never once not used the litter tray and it has to be regularly emptied as a cat won't even use a dirty or smelly litter tray :)

Have you noticed a pattern between when pup eats and when he needs to go? You could adjust meal and sleep times to try and encourage him to go beforehand?

It would usually be about half an hour after sleeping, playing, feeding or drinking as he's only little and won't have developed a very strong system as yet. Routine could help him and associating words with his business (wee wee, poo etc...).

Voice tone can be useful as well, a gentle but firm no when he's done what he shouldn't and praise when he's done something good. These should be done right after him doing what he should do so the association is there for him.

Good morning all.I am going back to bed in a minute as I barely slept last night.........I have just got a new adjustable bed :-),of course this means I am now sleeping in the same room as my OH who snores and fidgets like you wouldn't believe!

I have noticed a pattern of him needing a poo within minutes of finishing his food , and he goes straight out to do that . He gets his last meal of the day at 5pm and goes out several times before bed , but seems to need one either in the night or first thing in the morning . xxxxx

Hi 4get,I managed to buy an almost new bed for �200 from an elderly relative of a friend who only slept in it once and then had a bad fall and broke her hip so now has a proper hospital bed provided,she just wanted rid of the bed so said I could have it and pay her in installments. It is realloy comfy :-),it's quite odd being back in a bed though after almost 3 years sleeping in a chair!

I was quite surprised to be offered the bed so soon after talking on here about needing one! When I told the lady I couldn't afford it she offered it for free but as she is an elderly lady on a pension I wouldn't accept her very kind offer,we agreed that I would pay for it over the next two months instead and she won't accept more than �200 for it even though it cost her twice that.
I bet there are people on here who would have paid to see your sponsored streak 4get! lol

Morning all Hi Bigmamma you got guts bringing up a puppy again .Hows porche taken to it. puppy looks cute but at least its not another mischievious lab. Mine was about 3 years old before he stopped devastating my garden but luckily didnt do any house damage apart from pull the airvent out. Happy training

Well it is a good morning just had the hospital ring me with a cancellation, as there is a long waiting list, so off to physio for my knee injury.
IWish me luck I want to get back to normal.

Gday J1978....have retired today from voluntary work to create employment in these dark days. Am happy to have more time to indulge ME!
