I wouldn't have thought there was a problem seeing as your daughter is already at that school, as long as you are able to get her there in time and pick her up in time. When I lived in Devon my children went to school in a town 5 miles away from where we lived (yes, there were nearer primary schools), though in this instance we were intending to live in the town where the childrens school was, but ended up buying a house 5 miles away!. However, your daughter would not know many children in the area where you lived, and you would have to travel for her to see friends, or for her friends to come round to your house. Also, does the school she's in feed into the same secondary school as the area you are planning on moving to? If not then she could be starting secondary school not knowing anyone there. It may be worth your while just to check out the schools in the new area, your daughter is young enough to cope with the move and make new friends easily, so it may be better to do it now rather than later.
