just looking at some old photographs taken when i lived in a castle stayed there for four years anybody else stayed in a nice place

wow I would love to live in a castle. I have found one in France that Im gonna buy when I win the lottery :D Its only 3/4 million quid and its ace, its on a hill and got a moat and a forest and loads of little cottages with it :)
did you doss in some ruins or did you live in a castle?

i forgot to say that i worked there in my early years i was traing to be a butler then one day i said to myself what the hell am i doing bowing and all that nonsense so i told them what to do with their job

i lived in the grosvenor hotel i london for a bit when i was a kid, that was nice

Wow, that must have been amazing!

I lived in hotels in London for a while while I was working down there during the week then back in Manchester during the weekends.

My main home was the Travelodge in Belsize Park :)

Have slept in a few churches while on conferences and doing charity stuff at uni.

I lived in the most perfect house with my kids when they were young -opposite Rosemount Golf Course -you'll know -it was bliss had to sell it but good memories x

Anyways -sad new about Eddie Thompson but even sadder was his daughters husband killed on his bike on the way up to see him at 8 in the morning with her following in the car -how bleeding tragic.

I dont know if youre a football fan but if you are like me and follow local events you couldnt help but be moved by that families plight .

My heart goes out to them.

Sorry to sound morbid but I know you would have known and didnt want to post a thread about it.

hi dris i knew you would come on nice to hear from you just for you the castle i worked in was floors castle on the borders it wasnt a great job but it did show me how the other half lives yes sad about eddie thomson and yes i am a dundee united supporter keep in touch

Hope you are well -sad day for Dundee but what a man -he has touched the hearts of many people and with the added tragedy of his daughters man -it beggars belief best not to think itoo deep.
