Hola!

Does anyone happen to know what the laws are regarding small children sitting in the front of a car (on a child seat)?

Thanks in advance. Have a good weekend all! :)

Thats fine, but the correct child restraint MUST be used.
booster seat/cushion would be sensible depending on their size and age
And not in the driving seat.

you cant put a baby seat in front if theres an airbag either

Thanks, everyone! :)

I'm taking my niece to my bloke's for the weekend later and it makes it so much easier than trying to shut her up in the back by aiming grapes at her mouth. :)

She's coming up to four and has one of those child seats (with the back), but it doesn't have its own harness-thingies. Is that okay?
Sounds like a booster seat .
usually have loops or cut outs to feed the strap through.

in all honesty a child in the front of the car can sometimes be more of a distraction whilst driving , but its a personal choice .
youre right there leggy, but it's prefferable to twisting round whilst driving , to whack em,
Ahh -I was under the impression that kids couldnt sit in the front of the car until 14.
I wouldnt ever put a small child in the front seat of a car -apparently the airbag itself could case serious damage with a little one if there was a collision.
I cant find a link offhand but I know that I wouldnt ever have a wee one on a booster seat in the front -I would far rather just put up with their whinging -but its up to you if its not against the law.

J is 19 and she is still strapped in the back lol
