I've started really really really liking this guy in my uni class and URGH!! He now has a girlfriend... He just started going out with her today.

I'm sure I'm in love. If not it's the closest I've ever been. How can I get over it?

mmmmmm......have you spent any real time with him?....have you gone out together?......have you talked about life,love ..the universe??......have you gotten p****d together??
Hate to be a cynic.......but I doubt that it is love that you are feeling...more than likely a crush. But don't despair...if you really like him,just continue to let your friendship with him develop...you never know what will transpire when he may need a shoulder to cry on and a friendly ear.

You're right, I'm probably not in love. I'll take your advice and keep developing our friendship, but I'm not going to hang on forever. I'll see how things flow. It's just the thought of them being together, building a relationship etc. that I find troubling.
