Now there was a place deep end of Yates's wine lodge. Every deadleg neerdowell goodfornothing reprobate was in there Friday night. There was a man sat in a thing a bit like a pulpit watching for anyone getting out of order he would signal to bouncers who would throw them out and give them a lesson in etiquette with a hob nailed boot .sawdust on the floor champagne on drought,docks and samples were sizes of wines . oh if only they would come back. Now its all trendy carpets no spitoons. Women chewing nails at the bar and I mean the kind you knock in wood.
